Polysexuality describes those who have romantic, sexual, or affectional desire for more than one gender. InPhiladelphia took a bold step toward LGBTQ representation with the introduction of the Philly Pride flag: our own version of the popular six-colored-stripe rainbow Pride flag. Philadelphia still flies its special Pride flag — as do many cities around the world — but LGBTQ+ activists encourage people to figure out which Pride flag best represents them and to fly the one that feels right. We’ve focused on what makes Philly unique from its colonial history to its busy waterfront and artistic offerings.
